We go to Sylvan Lake every year in the summer to bolder climb and hike around new trails. This last trip we went during the fall and it was entirely different then ever before. We were shooting an early morning video for our online commercial that we will be posting in the next few months.
Sylvan Lake is one if the most peaceful places I have ever been. Driving through the rocky hills of Custer State Park you have the chance of coming across buffalo, deer and waterfalls. But nestled away in the hills is this little lake with huge granite slabs towering out of the water. During the summer it is filled with people laughing with their families and enjoying the beauty. This time with it being fall there was no one there. It was just quiet. The lake looked like glass as the granite towers reflected off the still water.
Ben proposed to me two and a haft years ago here, so it holds a special place in our hearts. This place is heaven.
