We all need a change of scenery at some time.
When you can’t make a physical change, do it in your mind. Let your imagination run free. Fly at will. Visit your dream locations. Explore your dream locations. Explore the possibilities.

The cabin we visited has a few ponds with so many fish in them. The water is crystal clear. You could just look down from the bridge and watch the fish. In the past when the fish were hiding we would take a fishing rod with a lure (no hook) on the end to get them swimming around.
This is a painting hanging in my uncles cabin. Its one of my favorite paintings of all time. I don't know where he got it from but the cool thing is its 1/2 finished. If you look closely some of the subjects are missing feet and hands. There is a black spot in the middle up in the sky. To me it looks like a guy flying around with a jetpack haha
“Ben want to go on a plane ride?” Uncle Dave
“haha…….. wait what?” Ben
This was such a fun creative airplane hanger made from, you may have guessed shipping containers. I am glad we decided not to go for a ride after lunch because apparently landing was little tricky that day.
Im just not a small plane kind of gal but It was nice to have the option.
Its never to late to start each day afresh.
Every down brings unlimited possibilities,
Don’t be shackled by yesterday.
Create your future afresh.

Its hard to believe we got to see so many family members this past week. We tried to fit everything in that we could. Poutine, a visit to Banff, camping, shopping and coffees. We are so thankful for all the wonderful experiences and memories we have from this trip.
Even though we loved being away it is so nice to be home and back in our wonderful community.
Unsurprisingly while up in Canada on vacation Ben found the opportunity to chop some tress down. We nocked about 8 down to dry for firewood. Since Ben doesn't hunt we thought he should have a trophy shot with one of the trees they knocked over.
While we were in Canada we staid out at my Uncles cabin. It was amazing smelling the wood burning stove every morning in this tiny cabin we were in. Ben and I made a vow to build ourselves a one just like this within the next few years for an outdoor office/studio space. With all of the chaos in the last week of the election it was nice to get away, no internet, no phones and no computers. I have to admit I did miss the luxury of a cabin bathroom and running water.
I remember walking the streets of Bratislava with our friends early this year. It was such a good reminder of how different things can be around the world. Sometimes it makes me sad after we visit a place to think I may never be back there again. But you never know maybe we will go back some day.
Make today your fresh start. There is so much good and beauty in the world try to add to it. Even a smile to someone you don't know will is worth something. We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful state filled with kind people who are always willing to lend a hand.
Be kind. As we rush through life, we miss many of its greatest rewards. Take the gentler road. Take time to talk to people. Learn about their lives and their loved ones. It will broaden your life and give you compassion. Accept their kindness. Be kind in return.

Its never to late to watch the waves.
Smell the sea air.
Feel the spray.
It’s one of nature’s most soothing forces.
The endless rhythm.
The expansive power.
The constant sub and flow.
The variety of the swells
Let the motion calm you.
Meditate on the magnificence.
We are all working so hard on something. Personal projects, renovations, school, diets, 5K’s, Parenting, taking care of others, our careers, and anything else you can think of. This can be exhausting if you don't have a team of cheer leaders behind you encouraging you and telling you how capable you are.
Take a second and be that cheerleader for someone. Tag them and give them some encouragement. It will give them some fuel for their day and could make a big difference.
