This weekend we kayaked and camped at the Lake Sakakawea. It was a 2 night adventure across the lake. We made sure to bring the book “Scary Stories to Tell In the Dark”. I don't know if you have ever read that book but it was a classic from Bens childhood. Ben remembered the stories being so scary and we couldn't wait to read them by the campfire. Turns out they are totally ridiculous not justbecause of the content but when our friend Max read them in the character of an out of touch history teacher it made them that much more ridiculous haha.
I am actually so glad the stories weren't bad because I don't think I would have gotten any sleep. Scary things are poison for my brain I just don't recover as fast as a 27 year old adult should. Poor Ben, if we watch a scary movie it has to be over breakfast on a Saturday to give me time to recover.
